Teething baby won't feed

Has anyone experienced their young baby refusing the bottle due to teething? My son is 4.5 months. He's always been a hungry baby and is big, he weighs 9kg. He's teething like mad at the moment and the last two days it's really affecting his feeding. He will take half the bottle then rejects it, throwing his head back and bashing it away. I think the sucking and the teat must make his gums / mouth sore.

Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do and how long did it last?

I breastfed but it was the same with teething, I think it lasted a few days maybe a week at most. You could try Calpol a bit before feeding if you're getting really worried about intake but not a long term solution (as I'm sure you already know). Just a case of waiting for their pain to subside 😬
