1 year old tantrums

My DD is 16 months old and has just started having tantrums at the slightest thing! Things that she'd previously been fine with, being told to get down of the sofa, not to throw toys etc.
Any advice on how to deal with her?? I have a newborn as well so finding it very stressful

Following as I have a 15 MO who is the same and not sure how I should deal with them! Whether to ignore / distract etc.

I have the same problem with my 15 month old boy. He throws a tantrum over the littlest things. I find just letting him have a strop and distracting him with something after he has calmed down has helped Smile

If I only had DD, I'd just let her scream it out but DS is 9 weeks old and she wakes him up 🤦‍♀️😭
