Daughters behaviour

I think my daughter has emotional issues and I don't know what to do. She is 5 and in reception.
At home if she wants something she whinges then demands it straightaway. We talk to her and tell her she has to wait and we don't give in. We get it when we are ready eg a glass of water, etc.

She wakes up in the night and cries for no reason. There is no consoling or reasoning or nothing. So we ignore until she calms down.

She does silly things around the house like squirting toothpaste out. Mixing anything she can find etc.

At school she has hit kids and has tantrums. The school are crap and in her first week back she has been tarred with the same brush over an incident that turned out to be an accident.

Today she hit another child over her place in the queue.

We are at our wits end and don't know what to do. Can anyone help. We do discipline her but I'm.not even sure it is working.

Thank you

Have you spoken to her teacher? Do they have any concerns? Have you spoken to SENCO at school as well?

We haven't spoken to anyone. I dont even know where to start or what the best course of action is.

I'd ask for a meeting with her Teacher abs ask if they have any concerns about her behaviour socially and if they can arrange SENCO to assess her.
