Probably quite daft question about baby teeth

I thought the upper (cutting) edge of baby teeth were flat or smooth? But ds's are coming in ridged, like grown-up teeth. I know it's been years since I last saw my own baby teeth, have I completely misremembered???

i think teeth only become smooth when they've chomped food for a few years...

LOL they come through quite ridged on the edges and then are smoothed down (if you are very unlucky on you).

Don't worry, you haven't given birth to a werewolf, that's normal!
