8wk not finishing bottle

Hi All,

Background context: baby had 8wk injections 3 days ago.

Our 8wk old lb usually takes a 150ml bottle in around 25/30mins. Just now, since his jags he's only taking around 60ml then getting really fussy and not taking the rest or falling asleep.

If he falls asleep he's really restless and ends up overtired. If he doesn't fall asleep he is super fussy, he's not crying or in pain just very restless and can't be settled.

We have tried changing the teat size and that made no difference to his feeding.

His poop is also green but it's been green/yellow in parts since his formula was changed over a month ago.

It's been like this since Thursday - it's now Monday. Is this to do with his injections? Is this a growth spurt but surely he would feed more?

Called the HV and they said unless he stops eating then don't worry but we just felt fobbed off.

Is this all normal behaviour? All help greatly appreciated

Have you tried him with Calpol?

Did he have the rotavirus liquid? That can give them an upset tummy for a few days, although lasted longer with my DD.
