My nearly 2 and a half year old daughter started stuttering last month. That was just around the time she started talking more than 2 words together. She is a bit delayed in her spearhead but I blame this in that we speak our native language at home and she uses English in nursery.
Last month she started stuttering. Sometimes is one word, others is a sound “ppppppppp puzzle”. She blinks very fast at times like she is really struggling.
It feels like is getting worse, like sometimes it takes 8 seconds of stuttering. I have been told not to worry and to contact my gp if it’s still there in 3 months. However by reading online it seems that stuttering part of word or sounds and the fast blinking is a bad sign? Because COVID last HV appointment we had was at 9 months.
I will ring gp on Monday but feeling very anxious.
