hi, new here but looking for some advice or experiences!
my son is 2 next month, but has been very obviously on the spectrum for a long time. He is entirely non verbal and is delayed developmentally in most areas. We are awaiting seeing a paediatrician, ASD assessment, speech therapy however there’s obviously a long wait. I’ve wrote a massively detailed form but I’m worried with his age and literally no evidence we’ll be rejected. He literally needs almost 24 hour care, he doesn’t sleep at all which the GP is aware of. He is sensory seeking and gets himself into very dangerous situations. I’ve just got this awful feeling they’ll say “ah he’s just a typical one year old” 🤦🏻♀️ I have 4 children and none are like him, as parents we know don’t we?
