Social services CIN plan

Hi,
My son is being put on a child in need plan with social services. Can anyone tell me if social services can turn up at my house as and when they want without prior notice on a CIN? I know on CP they can but CIN?

I think SWs have the right to turn up unannounced whether there's any kindof plan in place. Of course you have the right to deny them access to your home but they'd see that as not co-operating enough and if they felt a child was at enough risk they could even request police to gain access. If SWs have any kindof involvement you're best to cooperate really as any difficulty will just create more 'red flags'
