I live somewhere where kids go to school a bit older mine is 5.5 and they have been back 2.5 weeks.
My son loved school for the first week but the second week he is really acting out and looks sad a lot. Anyone else seen this? I took a 12 week break from work so We were just at home. He is incredibly close to his younger brother, who is his social crutch.
I spoke to his teacher she said he is fine, struggles a bit to initiate social interaction it fine with a bit of facilitation at school. She said kids that come straight from day care to school have an easier ride.
