My baby is almost 11mo, she babbles away more just to herself and will respond to me with sounds/shows excitement etc she does respond to her name but she doesn’t imitate at all.
She is quite hard to hold the attention of and often just wants to crawl off and play. I’ve got the questionnaire for her 12month check through and to be honest apart from the gross motor stuff she’s not got many yes’s
I suppose the main things I’m concern about are:
She points but doesn’t seem to be at anything in particular
Doesn’t imitate at all
Doesn’t say any words - the questionnaire asks if they have three words?!!
She plays peekaboo with me and sometimes starts it on her own but won’t start it on request like it says on the sheet.
She’s not that cuddly - she will put her arms up to be picked up but often just wants to get down and crawl and climb.
I’m starting to feel very anxious and keep stressing that she might not talk.
