DD just pooed herself (4yrs) - not done that in nearly 2 years! Just exhaustion?

I think it is probably just exhaustion, but felt I should put it out to MN as a whole.

She is wiped out - my normally impossible to wear out child seems to have finally been broken by school. She's got huge dark circles under her eyes, and looks tired even if she isn't acting it.

She has been in bed since 7.30pm, yelled out, said that she needed a poo as I was coming up the stairs, but as I took her pull ups off her on the toilet, she had already been

Solid, not upset stomach. No complaints of stomach ache like if she has had food/drink that she can't have.

Is it just exhaustion? Is it common or should i be worrying (which I am btw)?

Don't worry she's just very tired {{{Hugs}}} which reminds me of a story for the feb thead about this morning

Ds1 did that yesterday - he is 6 - think was a combination of exhaustion, feeling under the weather, and listening to a disc (so not wanting to go). Was very cross with him, but don't think was anything to worry about.

she just be tired, impossible to believe of her but hey, stranger things have happened.

don't worry, DS1 still wets himself (very rarely) whne he really really tired, and in fact even pooed himself last year when out with DH on his b/day (strike that, that was this year). tieredness then too.

Now she's called to say that DS is in her bed next to her... he isn't

My dd(4 1/2) did that the other week at a playground. Think she was just too busy (and a bit tired at the time), she was very upset as she's quite a neatfreak usually.

DD1 had the occasional poo-in-pants moment at four, when she was run down. And at this stage of her first term in Reception, she was RUN DOWN with huge capital letters. Just totally exhausted and over-stimulated by all the new experiences.

We had a very quiet, low-key Christmas and in the New Year she got into her stride and started coping a lot better.

In other words, don't worry - tis normal.
