Seizures

Hi mums, recently my son who is almost 4 had a few episodes of seizures. We have a MRI booked and we are trying to find out more. Are there any mums on this group that have been through this or are in the same boat as us. I am very scared and need some guidance.

Yes we started with febrile seizures at 10 months. They were the most terrifying experiences of my life. He ended up having complex febrile seizures and we had 20 in 10 months.

What kind of seizures are you seeing?

We had an MRI and a 20 minure EEG, nothing was picked up. So we did a 24 hour EEG, nothing was picked up.

He had a genetic test and a microdeletion was picked up on his microarray.

He hasn't been prescribed anything. The seizures have reduced as he has gotten older.
