I didn't know if anybody could help me or if I've put it in the right section.
Had a HV pop over today (for unrelated reason to what I'm asking). Anyway, she was a bit concerned that DS (turned 7 months couple days ago) is unable to to stay sat unassisted for longer periods of time. He does sit well against something I.e highchair, pillows etc but can only manage short amounts sat up.
He has moderate hearing loss which affects his ability to hear certain volume and pitch. I was told when he was younger that it may affect his speech (it hasn't so far lucky and he is a vocal baby, he is quite loud and enjoys a good scream!) But was also told it may affect his balance and therefore may take him a bit longer to reach some physical milestones.
He rolls from back to front and front to back, is trying to pull himself up to crawl but can't get his coordination right to get into the position. He's quite wobbly when sitting.
I didn't really have any concerns up till HV said that. But now I'm doubting myself...
Would anybody else be concerned?
