Hi, my 4 yo daughter is a bright child. Knows her numbers, alphabets, rhymes. Can understand instructions. But when it comes to holding conversations with us or if our friends try to tell her something or have conversation or give instruction, she seems to be confused and cannot reply back or replies absolutely random things. Do you think this is normal?
We speak hindi, bengali and English at home. Also, she will be starting reception this September.

Did she go to nursery or pre-school? Did they notice this ?

How's her hearing ?

As she's speaking a few languages it might be worth posting in the Multicultural families section to see if theirs is usual for trilingual 4 year olds Thanks
