5 month old constantly rubbing face with force

Hello moms,

Please help me, I'm worried sick.
My dd will be 5 months next week and the past couple of days I noticed she started rubbing her nose/front of face frequently. When I hold her she buries her faces into me and when she's on her tummy she buries her faces into the mat. She does it with force too, like somethings bothering her and it looks like he has twitches while doing it - i dont know how to explain better, it's just worrisome. And i know it's not tiredness because she does it even aafter she wakes up. She also squeals ALL DAY but I believe that that is just her finding her voice.

What could it be? Anyone had the same experience? Please help me ease my mind, I dont want to worry, I just want to enjoy her while she's this little. Thank you ❤️

Could be any number of things from feeling over stimulated to teething. You probably won't ever fully know. It's totally normal though and both my sons have been through this phase. My 8 month old still does it. Don't worry Smile

My DS went through this and until now I have no idea why! Still does it from time to time...I think it might be teething!
