4 month sleep regression

Hiya everyone. I am first time mom and my son is 4months 3 weeks old.
Since my baby has been 11 weeks she has slept through from aprox 8-8. Recently he's started waking during the night again which I am aware may be sleep regression. What I am worried about is every time he's going to sleep he's making these really loud grunting and whiny noises for about 20/30 mins before he actually falls to sleep is this due to sleep regression and is this normal?
He has also started home made purées recently. He sits, Neil along head control, can roll and now started shuffling across the floor.

Hi OP
Yes the changes in sleep are very normal at this age and can last a few months before settling down again. Hang in there!

It is very early for purees. How much is she having/ how often. The whining/ grunting doesn't sound related to the regression though and could be digestive pain, particularly if you are feeding before bed. What made you decide to start solids? Head control, rolling and shuffling normal development for this age. Sitting unsupported more unusual, but still isn't an indication to start solids early. I would roll back on the solids for a week and see if settling improves.
