Weird stuff 4 yr old is saying?

So, a few things he's said in the last couple of days...
Apparently he fell in love with me the day he was born, and did I love him straight away too?
He 'chose' me and his father to be his parents above all the other parents, and he chose this house because it/we looked nice.
Why did he have to die, and is it going to happen again?
I mean, I don't even know what to say at this point! He doesn't normally say things like this, and I've not experienced a child saying anything similar. Please tell me this is a normal phase?!

This is so interesting! I've read about stuff like this before...like instead of life after death ...its life before birth. I don't know if its just a phase. The reason I read about jt online was because I remember having similar feelings when I was younger. It was around the same age. Maybe it is just a phase xxx
