2 year old biting and scratching

My son has recently started scratching and occasionally biting, he does it to me a lot when he's frustrated and not getting his own way, and now I've been pulled up for it at nursery. I'm mortified, I know it's common but just so upset he's going through this phase and don't know how is best to guide him out of it?
He's always been so so good and not around anyone at home showing these traits, so it's definitely something he has picked up at nursery. For months and months before this behaviour came about it was happening to him at nursery, I've signed countless accident forms to say it's happened to him, so obviously that's why he's now doing it. He loves nursery though and I need to continue sending him as I work. Just really struggling with how to stop this behaviour, it's giving me anxiety taking him out and going on play dates with other children in case he does it! He plays so so well 8/10 but I am just full on dread thinking it is going to happen!!
Any tips are fully welcome please x

Have Nursery said what's leading up to these incidents or how they are dealing with it?

My little boy starting biting at nursery, after a pretty nasty experience for him at 12 months (at nursery) and teething seemed to exacerbate it too. My nursery were pretty understanding though, it’s just so common. My second throws, pinches and hits and just turned 2. It’s so frustrating but it’s just how they can express themselves: nursery should be able to identify what leads up to the issue. Not they should also be helpful in aiding you with it all z
