ds, almost 3 1/2, has 'new' activity, and not one i'd like him to do in public......

most moms know what i'm talking about. ds, who's almost 3 1/2 has been, well, rubbing his doll against and inside his pants. (its a bit disconcerting, but i know its normal and not to really react.)

but, should i blank it completely? the last thing i want is for him to think its shameful at all. if he's 'doing it' he pushes me out of the room, almost embarassed. (to which, i just gently tell him, its ok to want to be alone, etc. nothing strict or anything.)

and what if he does it at nursery or in public?

thanks in advance ladies (&men)

Tell him if he rubs his winky too much he might make it sore, which is entirely true.

my delightful DS who is 4 in Feb has a fascination with his 'tail' (as his nanny calls it!) My stupid brother told him that it was his best friend and now that is what he calls it!!! In the last couple of days he has taken to pulling down the top of his trousers and perching his best friend so it is just visible, he thinks its hilarious but what happens when he starts doing it in Asda?!!!!
