8 month old just bashed everything

FTM here of an 8 month old boy who's great I'm trying to figure out what on earth I should be doing with him we play with lots of toys and sensory stuff but I'm not sure what else I should be doing as all he seems to want to do with everything is bash it! Is this just what babies do?

Seems so

They do like a good bash. I sometimes used to plonk them on the kitchen floor, turn the saucepans upside down and give them a wooden spoon.

They seemed to love that and it gave me a chance to get some lunch for us.
