ds just bitten his top lip

fell down, has 2 lovely tooth shaped holes in underside of top lip, bleedimg quite a lot, any advice please

Ouch! I know lips do tend to bleed a lot so try not to be alarmed.

They also heal extremely well so I would say hugs and an early night.

Did he bite right through (my friend's ds did that)?

Wrap teatowel round frozen peas or ice and press on it then take him to A&E. Or phone NHS direct 0845 4647.

teaspoon of sugar stops the bleeding I have been reliably informed

DD went splat on Saturday night .. she now looks like Angelina Jolie .. with a coldsore

why would you take a child with a cut lip to A&E .. lips heal very quickly

agree with twiglett.... sugar... stops bleeding almost imediently...
