Oh FGS - now nowhere is safe (or, Serves me right for Mumsnetting)

Heard a whimper, went to investigate, found ds2 wedged in the half-opened stairgate forcing his way through. He's only 13m - he's not supposed to be able to open it FGS!

Argh! How can I safely ignore him and Mumsnet with an easy conscience if he does this? Grump!

Pile a load of cushions at the foot of the stairs so he falls on something soft. He'll learn

No1 baby must have been the Executive Model (never did anything like this), No2 was the Standard Model, but I think No3 must be the Deluxe With Added Challenge.

I have three DDs PrettyCandles and I can confirm that model number three does indeed come with extra features.

PrettyCandles - we resorted to putting tree ties (rubber things) on our far-too-easy-to-open stairgates - but from memory DS was about 2.5 before we did that - DD opened one of the yesterday and she is 13 months [grr]

The youngest ones are always the bravest and grow up fastest.

There is no doubt the boy was born to be an engineer though.
