Is he non verbal

3yo doesn't talk lots has a lot of words but doesn't use them often and prefers to speak mainly in gobbledegook. Does that mean he's non verbal?

I wouldn’t say he’s non verbal if he has words? My daughter is 3 and has never said one word, but has amazing understanding and we know what she wants 99% of the time.
Have you spoken to HV or speech & language therapist?

Yes I'm doing all that is needed. I'm the OP btw just had a name change
