Hey everyone first time post ,
My 16 month old will walk, and even sometimes run, but when she is sitting or falls, for some reason she can't (or won't) stand up on her own. Is there a way I can encourage her to do it ? she took her first steps 5 weeks ago and she fly’s around our house but she won’t walk outside or in other peoples houses if she’s not comfortable !? Sometimes I feel embarrassed when other mums see her and say oh I thought u said she could walk , which she can but doesn't do it anywhere apart from at home , she is so fast at crawling and I think she's finding it hard to break away from the crawling for some reason !I know they are all different but I just feel so worried about her and keep wondering why it's taking her so long to get to get proper hang of it !
She only just turned 16 months ! Is it normal for them to take so long to get the hang of walking Hmm
Thank u xx

Totally normal, she's just gaining her confidence and figuring it all out. Try not to worry, she sounds fine x
