Silent reflux and night feeds

Just wondering if I could be doing something different as it's so hard. LO is 9 weeks, on omeprazole and been started on hypoallergenic formula 2 days ago incase cows milk protein allergy / intolerance are contributing to his unsettled behaviour.

After a feed I burp him and hold him upright for 30 mins on my chest. He's very rarely calm or sleepy after a night feed and thrashes about loads straightening out his legs / body. I rock him gently and give the dummy. I use white noise. Takes ages to settle him then when he's asleep I put him in the next to me crib. I can't imagine him self settling though he has sometime for a nap.

How does anyone else with a baby like this manage night feeds? I find it very exhausting and frustrating and stressful. He feeds every 4 hours at night. I'm also mindful not to wake my toddler up.
