Aptimel Pepto

I've started my 9 week old on aptimel pepto today as prescribed by the GP. GP and HV think he has cow milk protein intolerance or allergy. He's an unsettled / uncomfortable baby.

He's been pretty great all day but this evening he seems more uncomfortable than he's been in a while, keeps waking up squirming and thrashing about and I'm hoping that's not the new formula.

Looking for positive stories about aptimel pepto? Would absolutely love him to become a baby who is happy after a feed as he always cries and thrashes about. It's very difficult to see and also it's awful after night feeds when I'm trying to not wake the family.

He's also prescribed olanzapine for silent reflux. His weight gain is good and he always wants to feed, only symptoms really are the unsettled behaviour and poor sleep.

Ive not had experience sorry, it's me with CMPA rather than the DC.

I found this article from
Allergy UK very useful when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me.
