we have a buzz and our ds is 4 months and up until last week was in the "dreami" carrycot bit, but every time he was in it he would scream until we would carry him (not great when your on you own doing christmas shopping in a packed trafford centre) so we tried him in the pushchair bit (facing us) and he loves it and is perfectly content in there, presumably because he has move of a view than the sky or ceiling. but according to quinny the pushchair, although reclines almost flat, is not suitable until 6 months. am i awful putting him in this now? doing his spine damage etc? or is it ok?

i used it with dd1 when she was about that age but fully reclined iykwim? she hated laying on her back. even slept at night on her front

different sites say differentr things some say its suitable from birth

We moved to maxi cosi carseat i think for short journeys and used a sling too but I know people who have Bugaboos who have moved to the seat before 6 months too. My ds was also too inteested b4 the 6 onths mark to be flat flat!

My DD used the pushcahir bit at that age - she is very tall and was squashed in the dreamicot! Had it facing me though so I could see her.

what sort of seat does it have? is it the old style bigh seat or the new more padded seat?

tuttuttut · 23/11/2007 21:10

thanks for your replies everyone. it's a new one misdee. we've had the footmuff (more like a sleeping bag) in it too which makes him look quite snug, he doesn't look very small in it too be honest.

i think the new one is more suitable for small babies rather than the old seat, as its more padded and supportive IMO.

anyone had a bug and moved into seat early?
