One year old having tantrums

Hi, my youngest DS is 16 months old, and if he doesn't get what he wants immediately then he has started screaming, arching his back, flinging himself about in my arms, and if he is on the floor then deliberately banging his head on the floor.

My eldest DS is 3.5, and does wind DS2 up by taking toys or pushing him over etc and this is making it worse.

I am teaching DS1 how to be kind and treat his brother, but in the mean time, what can I do to support DS2 with managing his feelings of frustration or anger? 1 feels so young to have tantrums, and it isn't something we ever had with DS1.

How's his speech? Both of mine had tantrums but they improved as their speech improved.

For now though, I'd concentrate on sorting out DS1. He needs to stop winding up his brother.

He has a few words but not many. He was an early walker though, so I am hoping he will be an early talker too.

Yes- will focus on DS1, although it isn't just when he's been wound up, it's whenever he doesn't get what he wants immediately lol
