Hi
My baby is 8 months and can get around the house by crawling for a few steps then drags himself and crawls again. He can be pretty fast. He can sit up for ages really well, but when he seems like he wants to crawl again he either ends up falling on his face while trying to get in the right position or smacking his head so i now just use pillows but is there anyway to help him or is this normal? He can definitely sit unsupported that doesnt seem the problem

How does he get into the sitting position? Do you put him to sit? If so this isn't actually recommended in quote a lot of countries. You should just let them get into sitting position by themselves and then no issue getting out of it.

Sorry to explain what I mean. I think putting the baby to sit is a very British thing. Where I live it is seen as very strange and shouldn't be done until they can sit themselves
