4 year old keeps wetting himself at nursery!

My 4 (nearly 5 year old) boy has started wetting himself at nursery. He seems to have a real fear of missing out and would rather stand/sit there and wet himself than go the toilet! At first it was because he didn't want to let go of a bike incase someone else got it and then today it was because he didn't want to leave the lego table but when I asked him he said it was because you aren't allowed to run in the classroom!

I'm getting really frustrated with him as its not as if he has a problem as he manages to get to the toilet every where else. I've tried incentives like a day at the beach or a new toy, he still wet, his dad has told him off, took his tablet and TV time away, we have taken a toy each time he wets, we have tried to sit down and explain to him that it's ok to go the toilet and we have to share toys and such.

I'm really starting to worry about what he's going to be like when he starts reception in September, I'll be putting a nappy on him at this rate! Does anyone have any advice please as I honestly don't know what to do!

Have you spoken to his key worker? Are they encouraged to go to the toilet at certain times?
