Baby not rolling

Hi, my little one is 8 months. She is yet to roll either way. Just wondering how worried I should be. She sits completely unaided and has done for months. Likes to weight bear on legs etc. Has anyone else experienced this?

I wouldn’t worry since she is sitting unaided. My DD didn’t roll until she was 8.5 months!

Mine never really rolled, hated tummy time. Sat at 4 months, crawled at 11 and walked at 13 months.
I also had a lot of anxiety about the rolling but she's totally fine.

Same as above, my lg hated tummy time, didn't roll till she learned to crawl at 11mo. Sitting well means some good core strength so try not to worry!

Thanks everyone

If it's important to you then there is only one solution: tummy time

That was sent before I wanted it to but, I don't think there is an issue with baby not rolling, some crawl, some don't and go straight to walking xx

Does anyone have experience of a baby easily rolling back to belly, but not the other way? My DD is 8 months old and has rolled back to belly since she was about 4 months old. I’m not concerned as she can sit unaided and it almost crawling, however she often flips over onto her belly in the night and the cries as she can’t get herself back - I have to go and help, sometimes multiple times a night.

I’ve tried everything I can think of to encourage her to roll back. Does anyone have any advice?

@Calendulan I am going through the exact same thing with my 4.5 month old who has learnt back to belly but not the other way round which is causing upset when she finds herself rolling over in the middle of the night! Following this thread for any insight x
