my Dd has only 4 teeth & has been teething it seems like forever. Iknow there's nothing i can do abou tit but it worries me a bit. Also she babbles but doesn't have any recognisable words. she will only eat finger food - nothing with a sauce on it or that needs any cutlery. is this about right?

My ds is the same age. Has most of his teeth, but a little girl of the same age that goes to our toddler group only has one DS is babbling (not really any recognisable words) He eats foods with a sauce - with his fingers. Mind you, so does his sister, and shes 2.8!

Let me reassure you and also myself! My dd is also a July 06 baby and she has only five teeth, eats with her fingers and also only babbles when her peers are discussing the difference between tractors and combine harvesters. ALSO she can't walk yet. Bet yours can

I definitely have moments (often) of worrying about her development - this was why I was looking in this section actually!
BUT I comfort myself with the fact that she is gorgeous and smiley and sociable and sleeps really well and comes home from nursery with her head smelling of perfume because the nursery staff love her there and kiss her!
