Lockdown baby has started to be shy

My little boy is a lockdown baby. However we have socialised throughout lockdown albeit outside, generally for walks etc. Until recently I would have said lockdown has had no effect on him and in fact when we attended an outdoor baby group at about 10 months he enjoyed being the centre of attention.

We have started going to a few baby classes now and he’s taken a while to settle to them. Baby swimming he is still not particularly enjoying possibly due to noise.

We’ve had a few social events recently with friends and he is initially she with new people, hiding his head into my neck. He usually seems to warm up though. He also really doesn’t seem to like being the centre of attention eg if there is too many eyes on him for whatever reason he will cry.

Is this usual one year old behaviour or to do with lockdown?
