My DD is just turned 4 months old and she is probably the least happy baby I've ever met.

She will literally cry unless I hold her. And its constant. Can't do tummy time with her because she won't lift her head and just lies there crying. Tried a roller and other methods and nothing.

She's really tiny, I had her at 37+5 and at 16 weeks she weighed 9lb 8oz if that is of any relevance. She has never taken more than a 4oz feed. I think she has an issue with her stomach as she is so windy it's ridiculous and she's just so unsettled all the time.

Making me feel like the worst mum in the world. I've got a 21 month old DS too and I feel so sorry for him as she is just crying constantly or I can't play with him as I'm holding her.

Don't know what I expect from this really just needed a rant!

A sling? Bouncer? I find sitting on the floor with the smaller one on me while I play with the older one is really nice. The older one is involved, we build, read, he brings things etc.

The younger one lives in the sling when out and about as I have a single pram and when I put them both in, it's a squeeze (but can be done if my back is killing me/it's too hot).

Being outside helps a lot as the older one burns more energy and it is beneficial to my MH very very much.

Cannot help with the feeding but hope it gets easier for you.

If she's very windy and clingy, has she been investigated for Cow's Milk Protein Allergy and Tongue Tie?

Having said that, my DC2 had neither and just didn't like being put down. Ended up carrying her everywhere in a sling, then a hip seat.
