Worried mum alert

My baby boy is not far off 9 months and I get random spouts of worry about him.
When thinking about his development .
I have read other posts on here that are similar and would like to know how others are doing?

He doesn't respond to his name, he also isn't great with eye contact, he doesn't really have much social awareness and is pretty happy to be left with anyone and doesn't really notice when I have gone....or when I come back.
He doesn't really engage in play if we sit with him and doesn't really acknowledge us much.
He flaps his arms and makes a O shape with his mouth when he is excited and can flap his arms also when sad or annoyed.

He does....smile and laugh when sung to or play peek a boo, has funny sounds made to him, he loves animals and finds them really funny, he can sit up but isn't yet crawling (trying to...bringing legs up and trying to push up with him hands) he is ok with foods. Can be fussy sometimes but enjoyed finger foods.
He is saying Da da da and other babbling sounds.
He loves songs.

Should I be worried, are these a regular thing for babies his age and will the social side come in time?
I am just a bit worried as when I googled the lack of response to his name, I then fell down a rabbit hole of the "autism red flags" and started to think he does a few of them.

Sounds normal for his age.

@M0923 not sure if this will be helpful but I also worry about my little sometimes - she’s 7.5 months. She doesn’t really respond to her name, when she does I think it’s just coincidence. She sits up very well and has been doing this for around 3 weeks, not crawling yet. She also makes bababa sounds and this has really taken off in the past 3 days or so.

I think it’s normal to worry - I worry about autism too sometimes but I try to reassure myself that babies all develop differently I was massively worried when she wasn’t sitting up at 6 months but now she’s got really good at it.
I think your little one sounds about right for 9 months but as my daughter is my first I’m not too sure.
Hopefully
Someone more helpful
Will come along! X

Try not to worry. There is a huge range of typical
at that age. If it helps your son reminds me so much of my DS at that age. I too worried but he's a perfectly NT three year old now. His name response was fairly bad until closer to a year (consistent name response is technically a 12 month milestone) so just give it a bit longer. Don't let Google worry you unnecessarily.
