My son is 5 months old. Due to this pandemic he we are not able to take him out. Because of this we don't invite friends often. Now I am a bit concerned about it. I don't know how my son will socialize., The other day when we invited one friend he took 10 mins to feel comfortable around them . He was staring at them for a long time. Any inputs on this?!

Pandemic aside, some kids take time to warm up to new situations. They aren't all impulsively diving into new situations.
5 month olds who are more socialised usually have older siblings or cousins that they are used to. Take advantage of the weather and go out and about and socialise him now that numbers and risk are low. If you're very nervous you can limit yourself to outdoor places like parks but he's 5 months old so need for socialising isn't so great now but will grow soon.
