We've had such an awful day with our DS who has just turned 4.
He has just been so difficult and it was one of those days when the moment he woke up we knew it was going to be 'one of those days'
He kicks off when you ask him to do something 'it's time for a shower now' 'Noooooooo'
'right let's get our shoes on to go out' 'Nooooo'
'5 more minutes playing then it's bedtime' You get the picture 😭🤦🏻‍♀️
It's just feels like EVERYTHING is a battle. And he argues everything. He has an answer for everything.
I'm finding it really difficult to know how to deal with it and I feel like I'm failing 😭
He is normally the most happiest and well behaved little boy I think it's more of a shock because I am wondering where my angel boy has gone 😂
I get that they go through phases but I am just wondering if anyone has any advice on how best to deal or respond to this behaviour?
I also feel like he doesn't take me seriously, so if I say don't do something ie 'Don't pour water in that bowl' he looks me in the eye and does exactly that.
Any advice greatly appreciated 😫

I feel your pain!

I can offer you advice that I don't take myself at times like pick your battles, but it's so hard as you want to teach them lessons & not let them away with not listening to you.

I look forward to an advice too.
