Hello mummies, how are your 14 month old babies doing? I have a few concerns that i thought id share to see if anyone elses babies are similar to mine ds just turned 14 months today he has learnt so much in the past 2 months its unbelievable 🙏🏻 But were still abit behind speech wise he only has two words which are used appropriately mama and dada he talks baby language at other times during the day but is quite most often. My main concerns are hes still not pointing , he sometimes uses his whole hand to show what he wants and prefers to use his thumb to press things instead of his index and we also havent overcome his sensory issues with certain textures such as playdough jelly and basically most mushy things and his still whiney through out the day he does alot of pretend crying and whining to get what he wants and has sleep issues it takes us min 30 mins to get him to sleep. He also still drools alot i dont think its only teething im concerned there may be other issues other than these cons we have alot of pros here’s the things he has learnt; he will point to his nose ,eyes ,mouth ears ,hair ,feet and basically all body parts when asked to he has some baby cards of animals fruits and items and knows about 30 of them he will pick up the right one when we ask him he claps waves kisses and hugs when asked to he plays hide and seek he covers himself for us to find him he tries to show his age when you ask him how old he is he will put up his whole hand ( wont use index finger) he can stack blocks and put together pull apart toys * he plays with shape sorters and finds 3 shapes correctly on the first go sorry for the long post ❤️

He sounds great! My nearly 22 month old can only say bye bye and can't point to body parts or identify animals so your 14 month old is ahead of him :)
