Hi, reaching out for some help / personal experiences today.
My 4/12 year old DS is perfectly toilet trained for wees, but he never cracked poos. Despite working well with his nursery, trying every reward scheme out there, etc. He just doesn't want to do poos on the toilet.
At this point, we are just not sure whether it's a physical problem or a psychological one, or how to help him. Have you had any personal experiences of the problem, and how did you sort it? We have an appointment with the paediatrician, but that's not before the end of June.
At this point, I am happy to throw money at the problem. Experience Norland Nanny? Child psychologist? Private paediatrician? If you have got any experiences of the issue, please let me know. Or any recommendations of someone / something that helped you, let me know too. School is looming in September.....
