1 year old plagiocephaly

Hi.
My baby was born with a misshapen head which I put down at the time to being back to back so potentially in an awkward position.
He also had torticollis at the time which has resolved itself now.

I was told with repositioning his head shape would improve but it's not changed at all since he was born, is this something we will just have to live with?
Do you think it looks bad? I don't really notice when his hair is longer and no one else has really pointed it out but it's definitely a lot more rounded on the left while flatter on the right.

I never would have noticed it and can't really see anything unusual on the picture Smile

My DS had terrible plagiocephaly at a year and at 3 years old it's totally resolved! His was due to torticollis and favouring sleeping on his left side. My 5 month old has the same thing but I'm not worried as it's more than likely to resolve itself. The internet scaremongers and insists you put your child in some kind of helmet but the nhs page on plagio is really reassuring.

@foreverbaffled

Thank you that's reassuring, I know it's definitely not the worst case but certain angles seem to highlight it more if that makes sense.
Never knew if the helmets were worth it as a lot of people say it improves over time.
