My son can say quite a few words but they are not clear and he is not joining them together much except "more please". We are seeking private speech therapy as NHS wait is 18 months. I'm just so worried about it. Compared to my friends' children of a similar age, he seems so far behind. Potty training is not even a possibility as he doesn't seem to understand or be able to say wee or poo. Anyone been through it and their child's speech improved a lot? His behaviour is poor at times due to frustration that he can't communicate what he wants. Any advice would be gratefully received. X
