Colic? Reflux? What the hell??

My lo is four weeks old. Everything has been fine until the past few days. I suspected reflux And then colic but I really don't know. Incase it was reflux I've been feeding him and then keeping him upright for half an hour after. Then putting him in Moses basket. But the past two nights he's settled and then woke up crying after 15-30 mins. I've been picking him up to comfort him and then put him back in.
Last night he was crying like he was hungry so I've been feeding him every hour and the cycle is going on like that. Does this sound like reflux or colic? Or something else? I'm exhausted. He was doing a good hour between feeds before.

my son had silent reflux and its tough. he hated being laid flat. we ended up with a specialist consultant who was fab. After feeds its 30mins sitting up. we were given medicine as he had it severe. my boy also would rock his hips forward and back coz he was so uncomfortable. unfortunately he wasn't diagnosed until he was 9months. looking back I would've been more persistent and return to GP for answers.

if you google GERD there is some informative stuff x

@raising2children thank you. I've called the doctor today. He said first try changing his formula and then he's calling me back next week to see how we're getting on. He seems a bit better today. I just don't know what was wrong with him.

it's such a worry, but you know your baba best. even though our doctors are amazing, you are also knowledgeable when it comes to your kid x

@raising2children it really is. He had such an unsettled night the other night but last night was much better. Which has made me question whether it is reflux or not.
