DS bathtime misery!!

DS is 9 months old and loves, loves, loves his bathtime! He also loves, loves, loves spending every second glued to me so I thought I'd take a bath with him tonight, something I haven't done since he was about 3 months old.

He was absolutely terrified! He clung to me for dear life crying and pleading for me and sucking on my chest. ( I haven't breastfed since he was 6 months old.)

Needless to say we got right out of the bath.Any thoughts in why he might have got so upset? Bathtime has always been his absolute favorite!

don't take bath with him again if he has prob with it.

Prob if you were in teh bath he didn't have the space to sit/stand as he would normally and he felt unsafe/wobbly or he just didn't like it not being the same as normal.

Maybe he feels safe when you're not in the bath as he thinks you're then in a position to "save" him, but if you're in there with him you might both go under?
Dunno really.
Bless though
