DD is keen to try it, is she old enough do you think?

Thanks.

Go for it, our DD goes once a year with her kindergarten, the youngest are 3yo. They go each Tuesday for a month and most of them enjoy it. DD loves it and is always asking to go.

They use normal skates and start off pushing traffic cones around to get used to balancing. After one session she was skating without holding on (she was 4 at the time)

oh yes go for it

mine tried it at 4 and hated it "It's too slippy!" but there were lots of small children there

hope she enjoys it!

She will be fine. My DD went at Xmas last year for the first time, she was 2.5 and she loved it. We have been back a few times and she constantly asks when we can go again. My DS, however went at 5 for the first time, he is more cautious and was very nervous but soon got the hang of it and now loves it. I went last week to try and get some practice and ended up with a big fall on my back and head!! I think it is more frightening for adults than kids.
