Hi all.

My little girl who is soon to be four, was text book and ate and tried everything until she was about 20 months old and then point blank refused what I would call ‘proper food’ and it’s getting to a point now where I’m worried and not sure what to do.

I’ve consulted health visitors and paediatricians etc and all advise it’s fine and she’s growing and healthy etc and she will grow out of it....?!

Breakfast is either cereal, crumpets, hot cross buns, seeded bread with jam etc and a fruit and veg smoothie

Lunch is something like crackers, cheese, yog
Pretzels and an apple (although she’ll only eat half) - I put 3 things on a plate for variety

Dinner she will only eat beige, dry type food such as pizza, waffles, chips, fish fingers, nuggets etc and she will only eat frozen pees.

She does love a snack and will have a couple a day of things like fruit snacks or raisins or a chocolate crepe.

I try and encourage her to try new things and always offer without forcing or making an issue.

She seems to just be a child who would rather eat snacky things instead of a proper meal.

I’m a single mum and obviously feel I’ve failed some how (noting I enjoy all foods and am not a fussy or picky eater one bit).

She’s full of energy and I do give her really good vitamins with whole foods to help!

Any advice or just to know I’m not alone would be amazing. X
