My DS is about to turn 3 in a couple of weeks. For the past monthor so his behaviour has gone bonkers. Any unstructured time at home is a disaster. Doing daft stuff, being rough with his baby brother not listening AT ALL when told stop. Outside he's a lamb but can't be running out the door all the time. I'm losing my mind. Where has my sweet child gone? Sad

I'm having similar issues with my 3 year old. :( we have locks on all the doors because if he goes to use the toilet he'll then for some reason try to flood the bathroom. If he goes into our bedroom he'll rip the blinds down and everything. We can’t even do arts and crafts with him because he doesn't want to draw on paper, he wants to draw on the walls and furniture. He doesn't behave outside and constantly runs into the road for no reason. It takes 2 of us to take him out. The worst thing is, our 1 year old is watching everything he does, our fear is he's going to copy. I feel like a failure because its just getting worse with him. I thought things would change once he went to nursery, but he's not calming down at all. I would be here for hours if I had to list everything he does. I have no advice im afraid, just know you are not alone. X

Thanks Heatherroo. It's hard. I hope that this is just another phase, and a short one to that. I feel like I play security between my 3 year old and his 11 month brother. You're not a failure! Parenting is soooo hard. They just forgot to tell us...
