Milk for 3 year old

Good morning! :)

My DS turned 3 in January and still loves his morning and night time bottle!
He has 5oz for both and we've tried putting the milk in a transition bottle, a sippy cup, a normal cup....etc. etc.

But, he just loves his bottle and asks for it both morning at night.
I don't mind him having the milk, I'd just like to be able to get rid of the bottles!

He'll grow out of it! In the meantime just go with the flow. You'll miss those snuggles when he is not having his bottle. Best part of my day with my daughter

This is true. He gets into our bed in the mornings, so it is lovely to cuddle with him! x

It's apparently not great for their teeth though. Hoping someone else will comment on this.

We brush his teeth regularly, he drinks water throughout the day (in any cup!!) And there are no signs of any detriment to his teeth....So far......

Can you not just offer it in another cup and he can choose whether to drink it or not? At this point it's not so important for them to get as much milk as long as they are having plenty of dairy in their diet

It's awful for teeth - google bottle baby mouth. Brushing teeth makes zero difference. Absolutely ditch the bottles.

Does he use a cup in the day for water?
