Obsessed with patterns and fabrics

My 6 month old is fascinated by patterns and fabrics. He loves looking at cushions and fabrics, and spends hours just touching and feeling them.
I worry that this isn't normal and that it may suggest some neurodivergence. Or am I just paranoid?

Even if it was neurodivergence it can't be assessed for quite a while yet. I'd just put t to the back of your mind for now and try to enjoy this time with him.
