18 month old continually scratching

Hi

Has anyone experienced their child continually scratching their body. He never does his face just body especially around lower back and belly. He has done this really since he has been born and its never stopped. There are no signs of irritation in the skin and I bath him in oilatium. He did have a dairy allergy which he grew out off and reflux. It seems to happen when he is stressed. He always likes to play/pull my hair or twirl his own. Autism is in my husbands side but I don't think its that - he doesn't tick many of the boxes.

If he's previously been DF are you sure he's grown out of it? Did he still scratch when he was DF?
