He's had it for weeks. Doctor said it was viral and not on his chest. Is there anything I can do to help ease it?

Snufflebabe is like Vick's Vaporub for babies. More for blocked noses than coughs but worth a bash.
Smear on tissue and attach to moses basket with clothes peg (I could never bear to smear it on their chests/throats like you're meant to).

Thanks MrsBadger. I've been using kavol - does that do the same job?

You're from the August 07 ante natal group aren't you? Why don't you join us on the post natal group.

oh yes, same deal as Karvol

I can't face the long long postnatal thread - was hard enough keeping up on the antenatal one and that was when I was at my desk all day...

I understand MrsBadger. Some days it's really quiet but others are really busy. You probably would have to read it at least every few days to keep up. Hope you and the new baby are keeping well.

I have a read of the antenatal thread every now and then but have no hope of keeping up with it so haven't posted for weeks and weeks - I hope everyone is doing well

Gill my DS had a cough and cold for weeks that turned out to be bronchiolitis. As it is viral there was nothing we could use. I found karvol helped a little with his congestion, I also raised the head of his moses basket with some rolled up towels and put him to sleep on his side.
